The prosecution is continuing the investigation into the assassination attempt that occurred on Sunday evening, October 30, 2022, at the "Kodra e Diellit" residence in Tirana. The investigative group is verifying the past of the 39-year-old from Lezha between Italy and Albania.

Anton Gjini and Emiljano Deda are the two people who accompanied the young man to the Trauma hospital. They gave their statements to the police and explained the relationship with the victim and the dynamics of the event. Briken Sanaj went to the hospital without signs of life.
