The Court of Korça has decided to leave 45-year-old Bledar Trëndafili in prison, assigning the security measure "prison arrest" in absentia, after the latter burned his wife with gasoline.

During the court session, Trêndafili expressed regret for his action, appearing in tears according to what is reported. He stated that his action was carried out in a difficult psychological state, stressing that he felt separated from his children, due to problems with his wife.

"I know I did wrong, do whatever you want to me," he said in court.

Rose is accused of actions that have brought serious consequences and, according to him, his action was a reaction to the alleged betrayal by the woman.
