Greek customs officers on strike, Kakavija border crossing will be impassable

Due to the strike of Greek employees, the Kakavija Customs Branch announces that on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 07:00 to 11:00 (Albanian time), there will be a temporary interruption of movement at the border point.

According to the announcement by the Greek customs authorities, during this time interval, customs processing and movement at the Kakavija Border Crossing Point will be suspended.

The entry and exit of vehicles will be suspended for the duration of the strike.

Albanian Customs calls on all citizens and businesses planning to travel to Greece to avoid moving through the Kakavija Border Crossing Point during the interval 07:00 - 11:00, on Monday, July 27, 2026.
