The Tirana Prosecution Office has fully revealed the mechanism behind the murder of Judge Astrit Kalaja in the courtroom about a week ago.

Referring to the security cameras, it appears that Gjon Shkambi and his nephew Elvis Shkambi, as well as Ragip and Ervis Kurtaj, entered near room no. 3.

Immediately after the announcement of the decision by Judge Astrit Kalaja, Elvis Shkambi , who was in the courtroom, pulled a pistol from his belt and shot several times at the judge, Astrit Kalaja .

At the same time, after this action, Elvis Shkambi points the pistol at Ragip Kurtaj and Elvis Kurtaj, who are attempting to leave the room, and fires a gun at them once, causing Ervis Kurtaj to be injured in the right arm, while citizen Ragip Kurtaj is injured in the ribs on his left arm.

As material evidence, a firearm was seized, a pistol with the inscription "Welt Waffen W. Germany, Cal.765 mm, Browning", with which the person under the name Elvis Shkambi is suspected of having committed the incident.

After the inspection, the weapon's magazine was removed, and it was determined that the weapon had one cartridge in its chamber ready to fire and two other cartridges were also placed in the magazine.

In the parking lot of the Namazgja Mosque, a "Mercedes Benz" vehicle with the registration number AA900AA, owned by Gjon Shkambi, was found. During the inspection and search of this vehicle, 31 9 mm caliber cartridges, apparently dummy cartridges, were found and seized.
