New details have emerged from the serious incident in the village of Zvezdë in Maliqi, where the father killed his son with a hammer. The victim was divorced from his wife, lived in France and had only returned from France a few months ago.

Because of the divorce, he consumed alcohol every day, while yesterday he had a conflict with his father, trying to push him into the well, while his father returned by hitting him with a hammer.

Initially, his family members stated that the victim, being in a drunken state, had accidentally fallen in his apartment and as a result had received head injuries.

However, after the investigations, it was discovered that the drunk 50-year-old had a conflict in the apartment with his father, whom he wanted to throw into the water well in the yard.

As a result, the 77-year-old man hit him several times on the head with a hammer used to break stones, where as a result of the serious injury, the 50-year-old man lost his life while being transported to the hospital in Korça.
