It was initially reported as an accidental event, but after in-depth investigations by the investigative team, the event that happened yesterday afternoon, in the village of Zvezdë, where the 50-year-old HB lost his life, became clear.

The father of the victim, the suspected perpetrator of the murder (with hard objects) of his son, is put in handcuffs.

The services of the Maliq Police Station, yesterday afternoon, after receiving the notification that the dead citizen HB, 50 years old, resident of the village of Zvezdë, Maliq, had been brought to the hospital in Korça, immediately went to the hospital and to the scene, in order to verify of the occasion.

Initially, his family members stated that the 50-year-old, being in a drunken state, had accidentally fallen in his apartment and as a result had received injuries to his head.

After the in-depth investigations carried out by the investigative group consisting of the specialists for the investigation of crimes of the Malik Police Station and the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Serious Crimes of the DVP Korçë, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Korçë Judicial District, it became possible to clarify full of the circumstances of this event.

From the in-depth investigations and the evidence provided, it turned out that yesterday afternoon, the 50-year-old, being in a drunken state, had a conflict in the apartment with his father Sh. B., 77 years old, whom he wanted to throw into the water well in the yard.

Then the 77-year-old hit him several times on the head with hard tools (a hammer used to break stones), where as a result of the serious injury, the 50-year-old lost his life while being transported to the hospital in Korça.

Following the procedural actions, citizen Sh. was arrested in flagrante delicto. B., 77 years old, for the criminal offense "Murder due to family relations".

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Korçë Judicial District Court for further action.
