Although he has been missing for more than four years, the name of Ervis Martinaj , the former gambling boss, continues to remain at the center of media attention and investigations by Albanian authorities. In almost every file where the activity of criminal groups or suspicious transactions is mentioned, his name reappears among the investigative files.

Recently, the website reported that Martinaj's name appeared in the "ARUBA" file. 

Communications secured by the encrypted platform SkyECC have also revealed new elements related to Martinaj's activity, mentioning his involvement in the "concrete business" used to build towers in Tirana.

These communications have already become part of the investigative materials and are being analyzed by the authorities, within the framework of several proceedings related to organized crime and suspected financial activities.

According to conversations held in June 2020 between people who are already wanted, they refer to him with the phrase: " I'm working Vis Martini ."

We recall that Ervis Martinaj's traces were finally lost in the Shijak area. Since August 10, 2022, when he was reported to have traveled to this city, Ervis Martinaj has been missing and for this fact, the family filed a report with the Lezha Police on the same date.

The file was registered for the charge of "Kidnapping or holding a person hostage" committed in the form of collaboration, but after several months of investigation, the case yielded nothing except for several searches in the homes of Astrit Avdyli, Jasin Avdyli and Aldo Avdyli.

The Shijak group, of which Aldo Avdylaj is a member, is also suspected of being linked to the disappearance of betting businessman Ervis Martinaj. Its leaders were questioned by the Prosecution, but denied having had any contacts to shelter the businessman, because they were under "house arrest" and monitored by the State Police.

Meanwhile, Martinaj's father has appeared several times at SPAK, where he has stated: " My son is dead ." For this reason, he has asked the state to find his body and bring justice. 

He stated that he has submitted to the Kurbin Prosecutor's Office precise coordinates and specific names of people who, according to him, may be involved in the disappearance of Ervis Martinaj, but despite this, no investigative action has been taken and the case has been forgotten.

According to him, criminal police leaders over the years have been interested in keeping the incident from being solved. Martinaj also stated that he has made all the information available to the Special Prosecution Office, but since then, according to him, no one has been interested in the progress of the investigations.
