Ilir Meta's new lawyer, Bujar Musta, requested in today's session at the Special Court that the testimony of the late former minister, Dritan Prifti, not be taken into account and that the interviews of two characters, Vojsava Ismailaj and Ervis Mata, not be used as evidence.

"Vojsava Ismailaj gave the interview after an SMS she sent me and I refused to meet her. I notified the Attorney General on January 5th and he initiated a case because the lady had connections to destabilizing elements.

"To be questioned as a witness," former President Meta himself is quoted as saying.

Meanwhile, Monika Kryemadhi's lawyer has requested that the financial expertise act be declared invalid and unusable.
