The new order of the Ministry of Education banning the use of phones not only during the learning process, but also while staying in school premises remains a theoretical order, as from an observation by Top Channel it seems that students have difficulty disconnecting from technological devices.
"Now, not everyone will be convinced. The phone is part of everyday life, no matter what you do...", says a high school graduate.
Not everyone follows the rules. During the long break, in the yards or even in the school corridors, you find teenagers with phones in their hands, even though it is not allowed. But students admit that even in class there are exceptions...
"I don't use it, but during the 5-minute periods the teachers give us... we have to look at the clock. For me, girls break the rule more, they make videos for TikTok."
Students also use maneuvers to manipulate teaching staff.
"They usually take two phones, one turned off and they give it to the teacher."
School-by-school footage in the capital shows that high school students are the most disobedient, but even in 9-year schools there is no shortage of students with phones, who stand out among the majority whose phones are locked in classroom drawers. Here, parents are demanding equality for all./ TCH
