Lezha Police have today finalized the police operation codenamed "Member", which led to the capture of a citizen wanted for serious criminal activity.

Fredi Pali, 36 years old, a resident of Lezha, was arrested in the area of ​​Shëngjin Island, where he was suspected of hiding for a long time.

According to the official announcement, Fredi Pali was wanted after the Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) had assigned him the security measure of "prison arrest", with a decision dated April 11, 2023.

He is accused of several serious criminal offenses, including:

Laundering of the proceeds of crime or criminal activity”, carried out in the form of a structured criminal group, a structured criminal group, and the commission of criminal offenses by a criminal organization or a structured criminal group.

Investigations show that Pali was part of a criminal group operating in the field of narcotics and is suspected of laundering the proceeds from this activity.
