Prime Minister Rama, at the start of his speech at the opening ceremony of the joint exercise Defender Europe 2023, said that Albania today is higher than ever in terms of international respect.

"Albania has the honor of hosting for the second time the largest military exercise in Europe.

This is a special privilege for our Armed Forces, who are hosts and participants. For the second time, this exercise highlights the continuous improvement of our military capacities thanks to the support of our American allies and other NATO countries.

Albania has never been higher in the level of international respect. Today, she is sitting in the United Nations SC as a co-sponsor on the issue of Ukraine. This is an extraordinary responsibility, which shows what maturity and development our country has achieved", said Rama.
