Prime Minister Edi Rama has posted the images of the "Bypass" of Vlora that is expected to open this tourist season. Like last year, this Bypass is expected to open to facilitate the influx of tourists choosing the south of the country to spend their holidays.

Rama: GOOD MORNING and with the "Bypass" of Vlora that is expected to open this tourist season, as an important segment for vehicle traffic, traffic facilitation and tourism development of the coastal city, I wish you a good day.

This infrastructure work with a length of 29 kilometers starts at the southern end of the Levan-Vlora highway and ends east of Orikum where it joins the national road Orikum-Saranda.

The project envisages the construction of 5 bridges, a half tunnel and the construction of the river protection of the Dukat River. The new road is considered as one of the segments with the highest tourist impact that will significantly affect the facilitation of traffic in the city of Vlora.
