A high delegation of the State Police, headed by the General Director Gladis Nano, has conducted an official visit to Great Britain, with a focus on increasing cooperation between the Albanian Police and British law enforcement agencies, especially in the fight against organized crime, drug trafficking various, illegal migration, as well as money laundering benefited from criminal activities.

This visit comes at the invitation of the Director of the NCA (Anti-Crime Agency). According to the Police announcement, during the meetings, Nano has received full support from the leaders of the police structures and law enforcement agencies in Great Britain, who have positively evaluated the results achieved in the last 6 months, in terms of preventing and combating crime. organized and terrorism, the cultivation of cannabis and the trafficking of hard drugs, as well as the crackdown on the smuggling of immigrants from third countries.

Nano has assured them that the challenges that await us are common and without cooperation and coordination of actions the results will not be in our favor. Nano assured that the State Police has all the capacities and is very committed to fighting side by side with partners, the criminal phenomena that harm and harm the life, economy and health of the citizens of our two countries, the EU and beyond .

This visit comes after successive, very important visits to the USA, Germany, Greece and Israel, by the General Director of the State Police Gladis Nano, to further strengthen cooperation, increase investigations and joint operations in the fight against organized crime and terrorism.
