In the decision, Moraes stated: "Considering that detention is a condition for the admissibility of the extradition process and aims to secure a possible surrender order in the requesting state, I order the detention of Ervin Mata, ordering the issuance of an arrest warrant, the execution of which must be communicated immediately to this Supreme Court, the Ministry of Justice, Interpol and the diplomatic mission of the interested state."
