Accident in Ulëz

An accident was registered this Thursday morning near the town of Ulza. A concrete-type vehicle went off the road, ending up a few meters below it.

The incident took place on the entrance road of Ulza just above the substation of the hydropower plant. The causes of this accident are unknown, while it is learned that the driver of the concrete mixer was sent for treatment to the trauma hospital in Tirana, where he is out of danger for life.

The accident could almost have been fatal for the driver of the concrete mixer-type vehicle, due to the terrain on which it occurred. Fortunately, the vehicle was stopped in the stream and did not go any further.

It is learned that the driver of the vehicle was working for the firm that is implementing a project for the revitalization of the lake line in Ulëz.
