In an interview for the show "Dekalog", former prosecutor Arjan Ndoja, now a DP MP, recalled the assassination attempt of November 1, 2019, an event that marked his life and the lives of three other people who were in his car.
Ndoja said that, during the trip to Sukthi, the car he and two other people were in was shot at, injuring everyone present.
The driver of the car, a 23-year-old man, died a few days later from a pulmonary embolism. The former prosecutor said that he himself suffered serious injuries to the subclavian area behind the neck, but luckily he survived.
He added that, although the event was beyond all logic and the risk to life was great, he had no personal debt to the perpetrators and felt no fear for his life.
"These individuals have never intimidated me. I just haven't had any dealings with them," Ndoja said.
"I publicly invite them to come out and say if I have a personal debt to them, even if it's verbal, to tell the truth," he said.
Ndoja also described the importance of legal protection for magistrates after the event and stressed that he considers the case closed for himself, but that the truth should not be forgotten, even though it is delayed:
"The truth is delayed, but it does not forget," he says.
