Both leaders highly praised the inter-institutional cooperation between the State Police, the DIA and the Italian Police, considering it a model for the region.

Carbone appreciated the role, professionalism and determination of the State Police in the fight against organized crime and emphasized that the establishment and functioning of 14 joint investigative teams, successful joint operations, joint work to prevent and crack down on cannabis cultivation, as well as the capture of internationally wanted persons are concrete evidence of this commitment.

The Director General of the State Police, Ilir Proda, thanked Carbone for the trust and continued support of the Italian Police.

He emphasized that the State Police today is a professional, reliable institution and an equal partner in regional and international cooperation for public security and the fight against organized crime with the aim of the rule of law.

The two leaders also appreciated the contribution of the Security Expert Office at the Italian Embassy in Tirana and the Italian Interforce Office in Albania, for their role in coordinating and promoting cooperation through the Department of International Relations.

Carbone and Proda agreed that this model cooperation should be further deepened and expanded in all areas of common interest, mainly in the addition of joint investigative teams, considering it an excellent example to follow.

The Italian delegation included the Senior Director of the Italian Police, Lorena di Galante - Deputy Director of the DIA; Brigadier General Renzo Nisi - Commander of Department III of the DIA; as well as other leaders of partner structures specialized in anti-mafia investigations.
