The Tirana Court has sentenced two former officials of the Police Supervision Agency, Artjol Saliasi and Gëzim Sala, to 9 months in prison each, who were found guilty of abuse of office.

The former deputy director and the commanding director and the head of finance and support services were each sentenced to 9 months in prison, but due to the summary trial, the sentence was reduced by 1/3, to 6 months in prison.

However, the court decided to suspend the prison sentence and convert it to 1 year of probation.
