Today (February 26) a hearing will be held at the Special Court to reassess the security measures for the 24 people, staff of the Agricultural University of Tirana, against whom SPAk issued security measures.

Two vice-rectors, Ilir Kapaj and Romina Koto , have arrived at the GJKKO , and against whom, along with 7 others, a mandatory appearance order has been issued.

Five suspects are under arrest in prison, while 10 others, including two teachers  Dritan Laçi and Ilir Kusi, are being held under house arrest.

SPAK announced that 9 procurement procedures conducted in 2022 with a procurement value of 90,000,000 (ninety million) Lekë have been investigated.

"From proactive investigations with special methods such as; wiretapping of telephone conversations of officials of the Agricultural University of Tirana (UBT), observations conducted by the State Police and administration of documentation of procurement procedures, with the contracting authority of the Agricultural University of Tirana, up to this stage of the investigation, nine procurement procedures conducted in 2022, with a procurement value of 90,000,000 (ninety million) lek, have been investigated within the framework of this proceeding," SPAK announced.
