New details have come to light about the anti-drug operation at night in Tirana and some other areas.

The number of those arrested has reached 10, while the operation has been going on for hours.

According to Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha, a laboratory has been discovered in Tirana. For this, it is officially confirmed that a residence has been adapted as a place where cocaine would be processed, in Qereke, material equipment that processes the cocaine drug has been found, no information is yet given about this operation, the amount of cocaine seized and the identity of arrested persons, they were brought to the police premises at night.

The operation also continues in other cities, in Durrës and Kavajë, because the group used different areas and different objects, moving the place where the cocaine was processed.

Unofficial sources said the cocaine was brought in from Latin American countries, a known route for other criminal groups.

There are interceptions and environmental observations, so far the authorities have managed to keep the investigation secret and there will be an official announcement in the future. One of the members of the criminal group is Aldi Zonja.

For other persons, the court has approved the request of SPAK measures for a restraining order. The operation continues in Nikël and the suburbs of Tirana and central Albania.
