A 16-year-old man was detained by the police this Saturday, after he shared with others videos and intimate photos of a minor girl. After the investigations, it turns out that the 16-year-old has distributed personal materials of a minor girl on social networks and in various communication applications, to several different citizens.

The mobile device of the 16-year-old was seized as material evidence, and during the analysis of his preliminary investigation, conversations and communications were found in which intimate photos and videos were distributed in electronic applications of several people.

"Specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Cyber ​​Crimes, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, following the work to combat illegalities in the field of cyber crimes, have taken the initiative to arrest a 16-year-old citizen , for the criminal offenses "Pornography with minors" and "Computer forgery", provided by articles 117/2 and 186/a of the Criminal Code.

From the investigative actions carried out, it has emerged that the 16-year-old has distributed personal materials (photos and videos) of a minor citizen, on social networks and in various communication applications, to several different citizens.

The mobile device of the 16-year-old was seized as material evidence, and during the analysis of his preliminary examination, conversations and communications were found in which intimate photos and videos were distributed in electronic applications of different people.

Work is underway to identify other persons involved in this criminal activity. The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office", according to the police announcement.
