A fatal accident occurred today at around 11:45 on the Korça-Bilisht axis, near the intersection of the village of Tren.

The vehicle, driven by FP, hit citizen L. Sh., about 62 years old, who had just gotten out of another car. As a result, the 62-year-old died in hospital, while the 47-year-old driver was arrested.

"Specialists from the Road Traffic Sector arrested citizen FP, 47 years old, resident of the village of Sul, Devoll, in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Violation of road traffic rules", resulting in death.

Today at around 11:45, on the "Korça-Bilisht" road axis, near the intersection of the village of Tren, the vehicle driven by citizen FP, hit citizen L. Sh., about 62 years old, who had just gotten out of another vehicle. As a result of the accident, the 62-year-old suffered bodily injuries and later died in the Korça hospital," the announcement states.

The procedural materials will be referred to the Korça Prosecutor's Office for further action.
