A serious incident was recorded in the village of Golem in Lushnja, where a 40-year-old man was injured after a conflict over trivial reasons.

According to official police sources, a 17-year-old, during an argument with the 40-year-old, stabbed him twice.

Immediately after the incident, the injured man was transported to the Emergency Room of the Lushnja Regional Hospital, where he is receiving medical attention. Sources indicate that his life is out of danger.

Meanwhile, the suspected perpetrator, a 17-year-old, was escorted to the Lushnja Police Station, while the knife used in the attack was also seized.

"Around 19:05, in the village of Golem i Vogël, a 17-year-old minor citizen is suspected of having, during a conflict for weak motives, attacked citizen LS, 42, with a cutting tool (knife). Citizen LS was transported to the hospital and is under the care of doctors. Police services have accompanied the minor citizen to the premises of the Police Station for further action," the police announced.

The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event and its legal documentation.
