After the decision of the Court of Vlora, the file of Fredi Beleri, now the elected mayor of Himara, who is in prison for the charge of buying votes, has been transferred to the Special Prosecutor's Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK ) . 

The materials of the preliminary investigation file have already been handed over by the Prosecutor's Office of Vlora to SPAK and it is expected that another session will soon be held as a security measure at GJKKO. 

Report has published the decision of the Court of Vlora in which details are given on how the proceedings started. In the decision, it is stated that the criminal proceedings against Beler started on May 8 after there were suspicions that he was buying votes from 50 to 200 euros.

After that, the AR citizen presented himself at the Prosecutor's Office of Vlora, who denounced the buying of votes by Beler and agreed to become a ' prosecution infiltrator '.

In the file it is said that he had talked with Beleri about a list of 13 names and for this he will be paid 300 euros for the 'service' he would do to the candidate of Berisha-Meta and he would receive 50 euros to distribute to them to the people who would vote for him.

"Në datë 10.05.2023, shtetasi A.R, ka komunikuar ne telefon me shtetasin Dhionisios Alfred Beleri dhe i ka thënë se listën ia kishte dorëzuar sekretares së tij.

Alfredi i ka thënë se do ta verifikontë një gjë të tillë dhe do të komunikonin sërish bashkë për tu takuar. Në vijim të kësaj bisede, sërish në datë 10.05.2023, ata janë takuar më njëri tjetrin në lagjen Potam, jashtë ambienteve të lokalit "Gelateria", ku sipas bisedave ambientale të përgjuara, kanë biseduar në mënyrë të përmbledhur lidhur me listën prej 13 personash të dorëzuar nga shtetasi A.R dhe shumën monetare që duhej të përfitonte secili prej tyre në këmbim të votës pro kandidatit Dhinisios Alfred Beleri.

We remind you that today the Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry and the Greek ambassador to Albania are expected to meet today with Fredi Beleri and Pandeli Kokaveshi who are in custody, after being arrested for vote buying, 2 days before the local elections on May 14.
