Interior Minister Taulant Balla commemorated today the 20th anniversary of the death of Commissar Gani Malushi, who was executed with a barrage of bullets in 2003.
Through a reaction on social networks, Minister Balla declares that a new wind has started in the State Police, underlining that he will do his best to cut off from the blue uniforms the threads of leakage to the crime of sensitive work information and police actions.
"Today, 20 years ago, the State Police lost one of its top officers, and I'm not saying this about the ranks, but because of the great responsibilities he took on and the standard he set with his work. The Ministry of the Interior and the State Police will always be grateful to Commissioner Gani Malushi, Martyr of the Motherland, for everything he did for the restoration of the state and the law in Tropoja, Berat, Librazhd, Krujë, Kukës, etc., writes Balla.
Balla also points out that today, 14 years ago, in Durrës, the four martyrs of the Motherland fell on duty: Fatos Xhani, Altin Dizdari, Kastriot Feskaj, and Sajmir Duçkollari, to whom we are also grateful and we will do everything we can theirs to never be betrayed again from within the State Police.
"Since the first day at the head of the Ministry of the Interior, I have sought and will do everything to cut off from the State Police the leaks of sensitive work information and police actions to the crime. For me, this is a humiliating insult for the blood of the martyrs of the State Police and for every citizen of the Republic of Albania. Besides, it is also the worst and most demotivating example for the employees of the State Police under the supervision of directors and bosses of such a low moral profile, who betray their comrades and the organization's mission", says Balla.
