Kukës police have handcuffed 5 people, after they were caught with 20 kg of cannabis.

Thanks to the police operation codenamed "Long way", the police informs that Dritan Xhindaj, 33 years old, Tautant Bejaj, 36 years old, Tili Xhindi, 34 years old, SKerdilajd Veizaj, 32 years old and Kleanth Hoxha 47 years old have fallen behind bars. resident in Vlora.

According to the police, during the operation, these citizens were caught red-handed outside the premises of a bar, with 20 kilograms of suspected cannabis narcotics, which were seized as material evidence.

Narcotics, a vehicle, 10 mobile phones, as well as 1250 euros were seized as material evidence.

Meanwhile, investigations are underway to identify and bring to justice other persons implicated in this criminal activity.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance Kukës, for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", committed in collaboration.
