A 24-year-old Albanian man has been sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison in the United Kingdom after being found guilty of raping a 17-year-old girl in the restroom of a pub in Leicester.
According to the "Daily Express" to which Top Channel refers, Pandeli Dervishi carried out the attack on October 1, 2025, inside a bar in The Newarke area.
During the trial at Leicester Crown Court it was revealed that he had forced the minor to perform oral sex.
After the incident, police arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Initially, Dervishi was released on bail while investigators reviewed security camera footage and digital materials collected during the investigation.
In February 2026, he was formally charged with rape, but he failed to respond to police calls and was put on the wanted list. For about two months, British authorities conducted searches to locate him.
Investigators were able to track the Albanian's movements through phone records and financial information, which suggested he was in the Guildford area of Surrey.
Dervishi was spotted driving a white Mazda on the A320 Woking Road in the early hours of April 16. He ran a red light and was stopped by police, who arrested him.
The decision to sentence him to 7 years and 6 months in prison was made on Thursday, October 29, by Leicester Crown Court.
