Vllaznia Football Club has officially announced the departures of Sports Director Tefik Osmani and coach Thomas Brdaric. The 4-0 loss in the final against Egnatia and the missed opportunity to return the Super League title to Shkodër after 24 years has brought a "storm" to the red and blue camp.

After the Shkodran team announced the departure of Tefik Osmani, the Korça native who had been the team's Sports Director for 18 months.

"KF Vllaznia announces that with the end of the season, the contract with the sports director Mr. Tefik Osmani has also ended. In these circumstances, we thank him for the work he has done in these 18 months that he has been part of our club and at the same time we wish him success in his further career," the Shkodran club writes.

Less than an hour after this announcement, Vllaznia reacted again and announced that it had chosen not to renew the contract with coach Thomas Brdaric either.

"Vllaznia announces the end of the cooperation with coach Thomas Brdaric. The club thanks him for his contribution at the head of our team during this period and wishes him continued success in his career," the red and blues announced.

The 50-year-old German had his second adventure in Shkodra and since April 26, 2024, he led the team, sending it to the last match of the "Final 4", but without being able to win the championship title.
