UEFA trusts justice to an Austrian referee for the Albania - Andorra match

Albania hosts Andorra in Tirana on Monday at 20:45, for the second match of Group K qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.

Our team started the qualifying campaign poorly with a 2-0 loss against England in London, prompting self-criticism.

UEFA has now announced the referees who will referee the match against Andorra. It will be an Austrian team with head referee Sebastian Gishamer and assistant referees Roland Rieder, Santino Schreiner and Walter Altmann. The VAR will be Manuel Schuettengruber and Sara Telek.

Sebastian Gishamer (36 years old) has never judged Albania before, while he has two experiences with Kosovo.
