The confrontation between Bodo Glimt and Inter was merciless according to Thierry Henry. The former French striker highlighted the limits of the black and blues against the Norwegians, considered a real team capable of compensating for the lack of important individuals with a collective of absolute level. A lesson for everyone, even for the youngest according to the former Arsenal, Barcelona and Juventus star.
Henry praises Bodo/Glimt after Inter win
Directly from the CBS Golazo studios, where he comments on Champions League nights, Thierry Henry invited everyone to remember what really matters in the world of football, beyond money and big names: " We've talked about money, we've talked about names, but nothing beats a team. I don't care what people say. If you have money, if you have big names and you have a real team, then you become dangerous. But if you don't have a team, I don't care how much money or what names you have. They attack and defend together, no matter where they are on the pitch: down, in the middle, in high pressing. It's a real team. We all have to remember: it's a team game. We always say it. That's exactly what football should be. And it's a lesson for everyone, even for the boys watching: this is a team."
There was one episode in particular that really hit "Titì" hard, namely what happened after Hauge's goal that cut Inter's legs, further complicating the plans of the black and blues: " The thing I liked the most was what Hauge did. When he scored, he celebrated, then he looked at his teammate and said: 'Why didn't you pass the ball to me?'. You scored, but the message remains. It's a team that wants to fight for each other."

Inter was not a team up to the situation
Congratulations to Bodo/Glimt who showed their worth even against the big teams; the comparison with Inter for Henry is merciless: " We've seen it all over Europe, among other things. They played like this against Dortmund, against Atletico and even tonight (last night). And I wondered if the so-called big ones, the ones with big names, could say: 'You embarrassed us in your house, now we'll show you who we are'. But no. What was seen is exactly what it means to be a team. Inter was not that team. It was very slow, predictable. It was clear what they were going to do. Nobody passed the man, very premature crosses, everything readable".
Henry's assessment, seen from the results, seems to be completely true: " And I repeat, it's nice to see a team like that. It's refreshing. This is football. It doesn't matter what you have written here or the name on your back, it matters what's in your heart. And that's what was seen. It's just a spark, of course, but that's what matters. Congratulations to them. A well-deserved victory. I have nothing to say against Inter, but they deserve to be there, and with great merit."
