Less than 10 days away from Albania's next qualifying match against Serbia and the headline remains more on the ticket as sports fans consider the victory a more obligation than in the other matches of the reds and blacks against this opponent, as a result there are many who will want to witness it in the National Arena on June 7.
In an interview for Top Channel, the general secretary of the FSHF, Ilir Shulku, tells what happens with the ticket process which, unlike other meetings for this match, are by reservation and then by a random computer draw.
"There is one more day left from booking tickets, which is May 30, as the booking process started on May 15 and unlike other matches, this time there was a demand for over 200 thousand tickets, while the capacity of the stadium is 22 thousand seats. To enter the stadium, sports fans will need to have with them an ID card that corresponds to the name on the ticket, otherwise they will not be able to enter", said Ilir Shulku, general secretary of the AFL.
Were there extra measures by the police for this match and did you have communications?
Shulku: Yes, we have had several meetings with the police leaders and the most recent one was yesterday as this match is considered high-risk and this time the police will have very strict measures and there will be some control fences.
From a sporting point of view, how do you see this match in terms of the load and pressure that surrounds it?
Shulku: Sometimes such loads exceed the mark and it doesn't do well, but our players are active in important clubs in Europe and I am definitely optimistic and believe that we have every chance to win.
Albania has so far played two matches in terms of the 2026 World Cup elimination campaign with England and Andorra from which it has won 3 points, ranking second after the 3 lions in Group K, while Serbia will play the first match against Albania on June 7 in this World Cup elimination campaign.
