"Air Albania" Stadium

A few days ago, the Albanian Football Association announced that the stadium in the capital will no longer be called "Air Albania".

A new competition has been opened regarding the naming of the only large and new stadium of the Albanian national football team.

And while we are still waiting with curiosity to see what this stadium will be called, work has recently been done to delete the old name from the facility in Tirana, removing the "Air Albania" past.

The stadium, once called "Qemal Stafa", was reconstructed five years ago and, as the contract stipulates, its name is decided through a public process with bids from companies that meet certain criteria.

It remains to be seen whether the stadium will retain its name "Air Albania" or change again.
