Albanian fans who are in Georgia to closely follow the national team match are reported to have been attacked by the local fans.
According to the journalist Erion Todhe, who is in Tbilisi, the local ultras of Georgia have hit an Albanian fan, while the "Red and Black Fans" have demanded that the police escort them to the stadium.
"About 500 or a little more Albanian fans are expected. Fans have come from different countries of Europe. There was also an incident yesterday. A fan of Albania, I learned that he was attacked by local ultras. The TKZ group has requested the support of the local police to accompany them to the stadium. This is due to the events that took place in Tirana, where apparently Georgia fans were also hit after their victory. We hope that there will be no such events later," he said.
The Nations League match, Georgia-Albania, is played this Monday at 18:00.
