On Tuesday, the national team trained for the first time with the full group of footballers called for the first two matches in the League of Nations, while the red and black footballers declare that the objective is first place, as the only chance to hope for the World Cup.

"This is my first match at Air Albania and I call on all Albanians to fill the stadium. It is a very strong opponent, considering that they have very quality players in the composition. I believe we have a few days to prepare the match and focus on achieving a positive result in this match. It is a very good opportunity for the World Cup and why not be in the first place," said Arbër Hoxha, football player of the national team.

The first match of the Reds and Blacks in the League of Nations will be against Ukraine on September 7 in Prague, while the return match will be on September 10 at Air Albania.

The national stadium is currently going towards selling out, as tickets are available for fans in 13 of the 57 stands in total.

"We hope to emerge victorious in this first match and then see for the second match against Georgia. We are looking forward to the home game. I appeal and pray to the fans, who have never been absent, that the stadium will be full in this match," Taulant Seferi, football player of the national team.

Ukraine, like Albania, was part of the European 2024, but even though they have faced each other 6 times, they have never managed to win against them.
