Filippo Inzaghi

Filippo Inzaghi has surprised everyone with a recent decision. A few weeks after leading Pisa to Serie A, the 51-year-old coach has decided to step down from the team's management.

Inzaghi has resigned and asked the management to terminate his contract.

Despite leading the team to the top flight of Italian football after a 34-year wait, Inzaghi has decided to leave and will once again manage in Serie B.

According to Italian media, he has reached an agreement with Palermo, which plays in the second category of Italian football.

The Sicilian club aims to return to Serie A after several years of waiting and the directors have trusted the former Milan player. Inzaghi will manage Palermo and continue his career in Serie B, for the seventh consecutive season.
