Milan misses out on extra time victory, Milan derby ends in a draw
Reijnders' goal

Milan and Inter drew 1-1, in a spectacular derby that had it all.

The Reds came very close to winning, but conceded the equalizer only at the end. Reijnders broke the deadlock at the end of the first half, after a quick counterattack.

The second faction all spoke for the black and blues who were more demanding. The posts became a "curse" for Inter, as they denied the goal on three occasions, first to Bisseck, then Thuram and finally to Frattesi.

The dominance was eventually rewarded with the equalizer, scored by De Vrij in the 94th minute. Earlier, Inter had three more goals disallowed, two for offside and one for a foul.

With this draw, Inter holds second place with 51 points, while Milan ranks eighth with 35 points.
