After two wins and a draw, between the Cup and the Championship, Manchester United returned to defeat in the Premier League.

The Red Devils were defeated 3-1 at home by Brighton. The first half ended in a draw, after the visitors scored first through Minteh in the 5th minute, while Bruno Fernandes equalized in the 23rd minute.

In the second half, Brighton scored twice more with Mitoma in the 60th minute and Rutter in the 76th minute.

This loss leaves Manchester United in 13th place with 26 points, while Brighton climbs to ninth with 34 points.

Everton recorded a big win, defeating Tottenham 3-2. This triumph moves Everton up to 16th place with 20 points, 4 less than Tottenham in 15th place.

Nottingham can't stop, after defeating Southampton 3-2 at home. An important success for the locals, as they climb to 44 points, the same as second-place Arsenal.
