Lara Colturi has closed her debut at the World Championships in 7th place among the top 10 in the world of women's alpine skiing, giving strong emotions after staying in first place for several minutes.
However, against the current world champions, yesterday at the age of 18, Lara's debut went quite well for Albania, gaining even more experience for her continuation under the red and black colors to surprise everyone.
"I want to say that I am very pleased, in the first outing I did not do my best, then in the second I did my best and for that reason I am very pleased. I want to emphasize that I had a fever and I still do now, but I will try to rest tomorrow and do my best for Saturday's race. As for the world championships, I can say that it is very different from the races I have done so far because there is a wonderful atmosphere with so many fans and all the girls try to give their best. I am very pleased with what I achieved," says Lara Colturi, skier.
It will now be Deni Xhepa's turn to honor the national flag for men in his race on Friday. Meanwhile, Lara Colturi closes her Giant Slalom outing to try again in two days in slalom here at the world championships in Saalbach, Austria.
