"We are satisfied with the draw", Reja: Poland is strong, we will
Armand Duka and Edi Reja

The draw for the Euro 2024 elimination phase put Albania in Group E. The Reds will have opponents Poland, the Czech Republic, the Faroe Islands and Moldova.

Coach Edi Reja commented on the draw and Albania's rivals, where, among other things, he stated:

"They are teams we know, they are difficult teams, but we can face them. We have a good chance with all these teams if we are in good condition and don't have shortages like in recent times. Poland is strong, that is known, but we will compete with the Czech Republic for second place.

We should be happy with this group, as we have avoided big names. We also know the Czech Republic, as we faced them in a friendly last year. But we will face difficulties if we play like last year. We must avoid the mistakes of the last matches.

The contract? You have the president here. First, let my contract end, then we will sit down to talk with the president. At the moment we have to work, close the contract we have and then we will talk about the future", declared Reja.

Even President Duka emphasized that at the right moment he will sit down with coach Reja to discuss the continuation.

"We are here today for the draw and then we will discuss the continuation, as we have always done with the coach. We will talk for the best of Albania ", declared the Duke.
