Sensational interview/ Ronaldo on Messi: He is the best player I have ever seen

Cristiano Ronaldo, in the second part of his much talked about interview with Piers Morgan, after continuing the "attack" on Erik Ten Haag and Manchester United, also referred to the World Cup in Qatar.

"CR7" emphasized that if he manages to lift the World Cup then he will end his career.

"I am very optimistic. We have a wonderful coach, a very good generation of footballers. It will be extremely difficult, but everything is possible. The most difficult groups will be France, Spain, Argentina, Germany and Brazil. However, if we win it, I will definitely retire. 100%", said the Portuguese captain.

He further added: I want to play two or three more years. I think I want to finish at 40, I think that will be a good age. But I don't know, I don't know the future. Sometimes you plan something, but life is dynamic. I don't know what will happen."

Ronaldo also spoke about Messi with whom he said he had a great relationship and said he was the best footballer he had seen along with Zinedine Zidane.
"He is a great player. Magical. Ball. We have shared the stage for 16 years. I have a great relationship with him. I'm not his friend, as I mean the word friend, when he's at your house or on the phone. He is someone I respect for the way he talks about me. Even his wife or my wife, my girlfriend. They have mutual respect and are both from Argentina. So, all good. What can I say about Messi? "Messi is the best player I have seen (besides him) together with Zinedine Zidane."
