Gonzalo Higuain hangs his shoes on the nail. The Argentinian striker has decided to retire from soccer at the end of this American MLS season, where he plays with the Inter Miami team.

Already at the age of 34, Higuain has decided to end an excellent career once and for all, after over the years he has played with teams such as Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus, Milan and Chelsea.

However, in recent years, he was going through a continuous decline, which culminated with the transfer to the USA, so Higuain has decided to end his playing football.

"The moment has come to stop and say goodbye to football. I have thought and analyzed everything well, before coming to this decision, to say goodbye to the sport that has given me so much. I was privileged", said the Argentine striker in a press conference from the United States of America, while it is worth noting that Higuain will celebrate his 35th birthday in December.
