Quiet evening for the continent's giants in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

France eased past Gibraltar 3-0 in a game without much history to top Group B where Greece also beat Ireland 2-1.

In Group C, England prevailed 4-0 over Malta in La Valletta where two goals came from the penalty spot and another was an own goal. In this group, North Macedonia was defeated 3-2 by Ukraine. 

Kosovo draws goalless with Romania, the dream of qualification is gone

While Kosovo drew 0-0 with Romania at the "Fadil Vokrri" stadium, fading even further the hope for a possible European qualification.

Alain Giresse's men were not accurate in closing the proceedings, as they dominated the game with possession and chances.

Zhegrova sent the ball into the net, but the VAR system canceled the goal for Celina's offside position, while Muriqi missed a good chance in extra minutes.

With this result, Kosovo drops to the fourth place in the group, after being overtaken by Israel, who beat Belarus in the transfer.
