Group E is an exciting contest with four contenders. Albania is at the top of the group, after defeating Poland 2-0 in the last round of matches.
Moldova overcame the Faroe Islands to keep themselves firmly in the equation, while second-placed Czech Republic have a game in hand over their rivals.
Only one thing can be decided in game seven. The Faroe Islands' hopes will be officially over if they lose. Czech Republic wins or both teams draw. In short, we all dream of "Euro 2024", from players, staff, fans. But how does Albania fare in the finals of this competition?
"Panorama Sport" makes a hypothetical calculation, looking at the potential of the rivals and the situation in the remaining three games. To leave nothing to chance, the representative needs a minimum of at least 5 points to qualify.
DIRECT QUALIFICATION Albania will face the Czech Republic today at home and then will travel to Moldova in November and after three days will host the Faroe Islands. Two draws and one win will be enough for the Rossoneri to qualify for Euro 2024. With a total of 15 points, assuming Poland win all three remaining games and go 15 points and draw with us, it would be Silvinho's side who would qualify for Germany, this made possible by the win 2 -0 in Tirana, after we scored one more goal. So, at least 5 points are needed in the remaining three games and Albania would see itself in the European. If we get 6, 7 or 9 points in three games, not only qualification, but surely we are also the first in the group.
QUALIFYING WITH FOUR POINTS Meanwhile, if a total of 4 points are obtained, i.e. a win, a draw and a loss, the chances of qualification are still there, as it also depends on the results that the Moldovans, the Poles, the Czechs will get and the direct match between them. If Albania gets 4 points, it goes to quota 14. In this situation, Poland in three games should collect 7 points, Moldova 6 (even if they beat us 1-0) and let the Czech Republic get 14 points, but without beating us directly.
QUALIFYING WITH THREE POINTS Even if the National Team collects three points in the remaining matches, it still has a chance to qualify, but it will be in the hands of the opponents. The Czech Republic must beat Poland and Moldova, while the Poles are stuck with a draw with either the Faroe Islands or Moldova. Thus, neither Poland nor Moldova would reach 13 points, as much as Albania. In February, Albania will get 13 points, the Czech Republic will collect 5 points in four meetings and Albania will have defeated the Czechs directly. Moldova and Poland have received 5 and 7 points respectively in three games, with the Moldovans having won the challenge with Albania 1-0.
QUALIFICATION WITH TWO POINTS The situation at this moment becomes serious. In this case, Albania, if it gets two draws, should have them with the Czechs and Moldovans. With 12 points it would be in a bad situation, while the Czechs in the remaining four meetings and 3 (Moldova) should not get more than 4 points and the direct match with the Moldovan Reds and Blacks won 1-0. Poland, for its part, must not collect more than 6 points. Even with equal points in this situation, Albania passes.
QUALIFICATION WITH ONE POINT Qualification with 1 point obtained in three matches exists. Considering that the Czech Republic has the advantage of one more game, if Albania draws even only with the Faroe Islands and beats Moldova 1-0, then it can qualify, if Moldova does not get points with Poland and the Czech Republic. As well as if Poland beats the Moldovans and draws with the Czech Republic of the Faroe Islands.
