Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has dismissed claims the club could look to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja in January.

The Albanian attacker was on the "radar" of AC Milan, but Mauricio Pochettino declared that he does not want to sell him, evaluating him as a player with potential.

Only recently back from a serious injury, the 22-year-old scored his first goal of the season in the win over Fulham earlier this month and looks set to challenge Nicolas Jackson for the main striker position at Stamford Bridge.

With summer signing Christopher Nkunku, who is yet to feature after undergoing knee surgery before the start of the Premier League season, Broja is expected to see more action on the pitch.

While in Italy it has been said that Inter was interested in Broja in the January market.

Ausilio, however, has refuted these claims.

"No, I'm sorry, but that's not true, because we're happy with the strikers we have. I know Broja and I know he is recovering from a serious injury and has also scored a goal. I hope that from Thursday he will be important for the national team. But there is no chance at Inter," he declared.
