Platini-Blatter corruption case, prosecutors seek 1 year and 8 months in prison

Swiss prosecutors have demanded a year and eight months probation for former UEFA president Michel Platini and former FIFA president Sepp Blatter.

In 2011, it is suspected that Blatter gave Platini a figure of 2 million Swiss francs, an unjustified payment. Allegations of fraud against the International Federation have been substantiated and the sentence will be handed down on July 8.
