More details have come to light about the December 30 incident at a Barcelona disco that led to the arrest of Brazilian soccer player Dani Alves.
The player is currently in prison for sexual assault, following the denunciation of a 23-year-old woman.
According to "El Periodico", Alves and the young woman stayed in the toilet of the disco for about 15 minutes. The investigators, who are analyzing the footage of the discotheque's security cameras, came to this conclusion.
According to the complainant's version, which was published by "El Periodico", Alves forced her "to sit on his lap, then slammed her to the ground, slapped her, lifted her up and had sex with her sexual".
That evening, the girl ended up in the hospital, where the corresponding examinations were made to find biological remains.
Meanwhile, the former Barcelona footballer and part of the Brazil National Team in the Qatar World Cup, has stated in court that he was at the disco, but stayed there for a short time, denying the sexual aggression he is accused of. Also, it has given 3 different versions. At first he said he did not know the girl; then he said that he had seen him, but nothing had happened to him; while at the end he declared that it was the girl who jumped on him.
On the other hand, according to "El Pais", the girl does not ask for compensation from Dani Alves, but only asks that the footballer pay in prison.
After the arrest, the President of Pumas, the team where Dani Alves is active, announced that the Brazilian has been expelled from the team.
"We cannot allow the behavior of one person to damage the philosophy of our work," said Leopoldo Silva.
