"Drama" with three red cards in Elbasani-Egnatia, Teuta stops Partizan

Elbasan and Egnatia drew 1-1 in the second week of the Super League. It was a match with a dramatic ending.

Diallo opened the scoring, giving the yellow-blues the lead in the 44th minute. Egnatia equalized in the 83rd minute, with Jeferson.

This incident eventually led to chaos. The Egnatia player's celebration in front of Elbasan fans caused Lulaj to behave unsportsmanlike towards him and was sent off.

In the 91st minute, Fangaj was also sent off, leaving Egnatia with 10 men. The Rrogozhina team eventually finished with 9 men, after Jeferson illegally tackled Bunjaku and was sent off.

Loukili saw his penalty saved by Dajsinani, while Xhonatan Lajthia scored in the ensuing melee, but the goal was disallowed for foul play in the area. In the end, the teams were forced to share a point.

In the next match, Partizan did not go further than a goalless draw against Teuta in the capital. The Red Bulls were held at home, recording their first draw of the season, after a win in the first week against Vora.
