Bonucci reveals the conversation with his Juventus teammates: Albania has a lot
Leonardo Bonucci

The captain of Italy, Leonardo Bonucci spoke at the press conference before tomorrow's friendly match against Albania at Air Albania.

The defender of Juventus emphasized that compared to 2017, Albania already has more talent and experience, while when asked about the situation of Cristiano Ronaldo, Bonucci said that he is sorry when he reads such news about the Portuguese.

"This team breathes and wants to show itself, we are in a stressful period as far as the physical aspect is concerned. We are in a period of trouble, I have been in the national team for years and I don't remember a friend who refused the national team and expressed that he did not want to join.

I return to the national team with the same desire as always, being here is a pride and pleasure and I remain available to my younger teammates or the coach. I am filled with happiness to be here, for me it is essential.

I will be there whenever necessary, regarding the Juventus teammates who have gathered at the World Cup, I have told the Argentines and Brazilians that I want to meet them as soon as possible. They are favorites in the World Cup."

From the matches of 2017, is Albania stronger or weaker?

"The Albanian team has more talent and experience, there are players who play in Serie A or other very important teams. It will be a difficult match for us.

A week ago a friend asked me how I was doing as he was going through a difficult period due to Italy missing the World Cup. It is true that we suffered a big disappointment, but we must learn and forget the past.

Let's look ahead to build the future, we have the European before us. Football, as in life, gives you the opportunity to start over, this is the message we have to give, this also comes thanks to the calm that the coach conveys. We have to be united and work hard, this is the only way to make a big European next.

For Cristiano, I'm sorry to read such news, I can't speak because I'm out of this topic. He is a great person and in such competitions he brings out the best, he is a game changing asset. I will cheer for Brazil and Argentina as I have friends there" , said Bonucci.
