Belgium has ended the first match of the group stage at the Qatar 2022 World Cup with victory, as it triumphed with a score of 1-0 against Canada.

The Belgians, with many veteran players on the playing field, suffered a lot from the speed of the Canadians led by Bayern Munich's Davies, who, although he played a good game, became a negative protagonist in the first half when he missed an 11-meter penalty in the minute 11'.

On the other hand, Belgium took the opportunity in the 44th minute, with Batshauyi, who after an assist from Alderweireld, found his way to the net.

In the second half of the match, both teams tried to find the way to the net, but were unable to finish the chances properly, causing the match to end with only one goal.

After the end of the first matches for Group F, Belgium leads with three points, Croatia and Morocco hold the second and third places respectively with one point each, while Canada ranks last with zero points.
