Australian Open, Nadal is eliminated in the second round

The Australian Open starts right away with a big bluff.

The adventure of Rafa Nadal, number two in the world, ended in the second round. The Spanish tennis player, obviously in a bad physical shape, surrendered to the American Mackenzie McDonald who won 3-0 in sets.

Nadal sought the help of the physiotherapist in the first set after a muscle problem in his left leg. His condition did not change as the sets went by and he eventually gave up.

His wife, who was in the stands, also burst into tears. Nadal quickly closes the first major prize for this year, the tournament where he was the reigning champion.
